I went ahead and checked them out since they have a good rating. they gave me a cheaper price to replace my engine than my mechanics and I can honestly say they did a good job! My car is driving beautifully! My mechanic is really good but they couldn't tell me why my AC isn't working the way it should and these guys found the issue. I'm a little sad I gotta spend more money but I'm grateful to finally know what the issue is! Y'all are awesome!!! Thanks a bunch

Wonderful shop to get repairs done at! Honest quality work is hard to come by these days. River Oaks Car Care definitely stands out due to their excellent communication, high quality work, and being honest of what is needed. Best part is the final repair cost was near or just below estimate. Great experience and will return for any future needs!

Tony and the guys at River Oaks Car Care are the best. They do great work and they don't mess you around with exaggerated claims. They tell you what’s wrong and they fix it. Honest and dependable!! Update: Tony has contacted me to make sure my vehicle is still in good shape and asked if I had any problems. He worked on my truck about a month ago. I have never had a single shop ever check on me a month later. Their level of customer care is absolutely the best!!!

River Oaks Auto Repair is the kind of shop that makes you wonder why all mechanics can’t be this good. They were polite from the start—no eye rolls, no “well, there’s your problem” clichés—just straight-up kindness and respect. The speed? Unreal. I barely had time to finish my coffee before they were calling to say my car was ready. Honestly, I think they might have a pit crew hiding in the back. The price was more than fair, too. I walked out feeling like I’d actually gotten a deal instead of needing to auction off a kidney to pay the bill. Most importantly, they were genuinely helpful. They explained everything in plain English, didn’t try to upsell me on anything ridiculous, and made sure I left confident in the work. Cannot recommend enough. I had this team do a pre-purchase inspection on a used car, and later took the same car back to verify the dealer completed all work as promised. They are absolutely wonderful!

one reason i chose this location was for the customer service. they were very kind and informative on the phone and in person. i feel as if it’s difficult nowadays to find auto shops with excellent customer service nowadays so i really appreciate it. they also charged very fairly for my serpentine belt replacement and they even took the one that was on off, for me upon my request so i could get a refund for the part i purchased myself! they also were able to start on my vehicle the moment i showed and it was a very speedy process. highly recommend them. will most likely be going back for further auto repairs:)

Here’s a RAVE! On October 21, 2025 I took my Honda for an oil change and a transmission flush. The vehicle performed and has performed well ever since. I highly recommend River Oaks Care Care! Prior to me taking the vehicle, I called and spoke to Tony. During the call he showed concern and had more questions than I could have come up with for him. After making an appointment, he sourced parts for the job. Ever since the job was completed he has FOLLOWED UP with me twice. Once soon after work was done and again today! If that wasn’t enough, my total bill came under initial quote. Thank you Tony! I highly recommend this place! Happy Holidays and Merry Christmas!

River Oaks Car Care is great, reliable, and speedy! I took my car in for an oil leak and starter replacement. Johnny and Toni communicated everything to me. Explained everything that was recommend to be done then immediately sprung into action. This was by far the quickest, smoothest, and reliable auto shop I’ve ever done business with. Definitely taking my vehicles here from now on. Thank you all again for all the help! They even texted a couple days later to be sure everything was working correctly! 👏🏾
